Jordan Scott uses cancelled postage stamps to create elaborate maps and forms, utilizing raw materials that have already traveled the globe, and speaking to personal narratives of journey and memory. Scott turns these tiny squares on art – marked and inked with their passage through the mail system - into expansive swaths of color and pattern, finely detailed but compositionally soothing.
